The children in our Autism Classes have been making the most of the recent fine weather and enjoying lots of summer fun outdoors. The new playground has been a wonderful addition and has provided great opportunities for movement, play and social interaction. The children have especially loved using the new tricycles and bubble machine, which have been a lovely release and balance after tabletop activities in the classroom. Outdoor play continues to support communication, sensory regulation and enjoyment, and it has been fantastic to see the children so happy and engaged.
