Autism Class December Update

8th Jan 2026
The children in our Autism Class have been busy celebrating the winter season. They produced excellent Christmas art, filled with sprinkles and sparkles, and took great pride in their colourful creations. The excitement continued when they were delighted to meet Santa and the dog, a visit that brought lots of smiles and joy to everyone. Parents also joined us before the holidays for a lovely, relaxed gathering where we enjoyed tea and mince pies, and some of the children happily tucked into their selection boxes, adding to the festive atmosphere.

In class, the children have now moved on to a winter theme and are engaging enthusiastically with new activities and learning. We were especially happy to welcome Layla back after her recent hospital stay; she was missed very much while she was unwell, and it’s wonderful to have her back with us. Meanwhile, Rian and Ella are doing fantastic work as they learn the poem “An Fear Sneachta”, showing great focus and enthusiasm.
