Autism Class January Update

30th Jan 2026
Our autism class has been full of lovely, busy moments. The children had great fun making penguins in art, getting messy with paint and enjoying being creative. We’ve been working on the phonics sound s, listening carefully and practising it in a fun, relaxed way. Pencil skills are coming along too through colouring, tracing and lots of mark-making. Outside, there was plenty of exploration, with the children washing sandy shells and enjoying the sensory play. The older children have also been busy learning the Irish poem An Fear Sneachta and are doing brilliantly.
