We had a wonderful time celebrating Earth Day in our school, with lots of fun and meaningful activities to help raise awareness about caring for our planet.
The children took part in a colouring competition, where they created beautiful pictures inspired by nature and Earth Day themes. Each room selected a winner, and it was fantastic to see the creativity and effort put into every entry.
As part of our Earth Day celebrations, we also talked about the importance of looking after the environment and how even small actions can make a big difference.
The children got hands-on by planting seeds, learning how plants grow and why they are so important for our world. They are now excitedly watching their seeds begin to grow, checking on them each day and taking pride in caring for them.
It was a fun and engaging way for everyone to learn more about protecting our Earth, and we are very proud of the enthusiasm shown by all the children!
