Fifth Class June Update
29th Jun 2026
‘Scrumptious’, ‘Amazing’, ‘very fun’, ‘exciting’, ‘adventurous’, ‘thrilling’ ‘exquisite’ and ‘exhausting’ were some of the adjectives the children used to describe our school tour to Redhills Adventure Centre. It was Robertstown’s first ever visit there, I guarantee you, it won’t be the last. We had such a fantastic, action packed day. The children partook in high adrenaline, energetic and active games which they all thoroughly enjoyed. They played paintball, archery, human foosball and go-karting, and there was much focus on teamwork and inclusion. There was something for everyone. The weather was a bit up and down, but the lashing rain from time to time didn’t dampen their spirits. Robertstown kids are a hardy bunch, they just kept going! I would like to thank the children for their exemplary behaviour on the day. They showed great maturity, kindness and care towards one another. They did our school proud. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my 5th class for a wonderful two years. It’s been a privilege to teach such an enthusiastic class who have a zest and interest in learning and progressing. Thank you so much for a fantastic two years, I’m so proud of you all, you couldn’t have worked harder. Best of luck in 6th. Have a happy and safe summer. Ms Murphy.
