Fifth class have had such an exciting and eventful month. We went on our class trip to the ‘Dead Zoo’ in Collins Barracks, Dublin. We hit the Phoenix Park first, climbed Wellington Monument, played football, and walked from there to Collins Barracks. We even took a photo outside the Criminal Courts of Justice en route!!!!!!
Also, Adam from The Rediscover Centre has been visiting our class weekly to deliver an interactive workshop on a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and environmental topics. So far the children have learned about sustainability and saving energy techniques. The activities are enjoyable, educational and very engaging.
