First & Second Class December Update

December has been an especially busy month in school for the boys and girls in 1st and 2nd class. In Maths we have been learning about 3D shapes and number patterns and we continued to work in stations for Literacy. December is always a great month for fun art activities and the children again created some lovely pieces. The class worked really hard on their 2 songs for the Christmas concert and did themselves proud when they performed on stage for the rest of the school and then their parents. Finally the school received a visit from a very special visitor on Thursday. The children were delighted to welcome Santa and Rosie into the halla for our Christmas assembly after celebrating a lovely Crib Service organised by Ms Conroy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support this year and indeed your generosity at Christmas.
