Congratulations to Second Class on receiving their First Holy Communion on 23rd May. There was a great deal of preparation in the weeks leading up to the special day. The children learned prayers, songs, and readings, and created beautiful artwork for the church. Thankfully, the sun was shining, and the children did themselves, their families, and the school proud throughout the ceremony.
Indeed May was a busy and exciting month, with Wellbeing Week, the Parents’ Association Bric-a-Brac Sale, and the school tour to Fort Lucan among the highlights. The Around the World project kept us engaged throughout the month. Thank you to the parents who were able to visit the classroom and take the time to view some of the children's work.
