Junior Infants April Update
What a fantastic and busy April we have had in Junior Infants! Our classroom has been full of fun, learning, laughter and creativity. We are so proud of all the children and everything they have achieved.
In Art, we got very creative using bubble wrap and blue paint to stamp beautiful raindrop pictures. We also had great fun using toothbrushes and paintbrushes to splatter paint onto flower templates, creating colourful spring masterpieces!
For Earth Day, we planted our very own cress seeds in decorated plant pots. The children added stickers and little signposts with their names on them. We are delighted to see them growing so beautifully and have loved watching nature at work.
Our Roleplay Area turned into a very busy restaurant this month! The chefs were hard at work cooking delicious meals and serving happy customers. There was lots of excitement when the restaurant was “robbed” a few times by some very sneaky thieves in our class!
We were so excited to play on the new jungle gym since it opened. It has been wonderful to see the children enjoying their time on there!
We had a lovely time dancing with the Autism Class doing the Freeze Dance, and the children did an amazing job performing at assembly. We were so proud of their confidence and enthusiasm.
A huge well done to all the children for finishing their phonics sounds! This is a wonderful achievement and I am so proud of all their hard work and effort throughout the year.
We also celebrated Ensley’s 6th birthday this month, happy birthday Ensley!
Congratulations to Calvin and Fiadh for winning prizes in our Green Schools colouring competition. Another congratulations to Tilly and Seán for winning our Robertstown Colouring competition, doing an amazing job of colouring in a picture of Mullaney’s!
