October Update
21st Oct 2025
October has been a busy and exciting month for Junior Infants! Our classroom has been full of creativity, laughter, and lots of learning. We made bubbling cauldrons using washing-up liquid, stamped painted apples to make our very own pumpkin faces, and even cooked up crazy potions in our Witch's Kitchen! The sand area turned spooky too, where we dug for pasta bones and spiders. We also built some haunted houses with our blocks.
We had a lot of fun celebrating Maths Week, too. We rolled our giant inflatable dice to get moving and used playdough mats and cubes to make lots of numbers!
Our Nature Walk was another big adventure, where we explored our school some more, and ticked off everything we spotted on our Autumn Checklists. We've learned all about hibernation, practised our Autumn Irish vocabulary, and have been excited about our recount writing, chatting and drawing our weekend news.
We're so excited to finish the month off with our Witch's Walk on Thursday. We can't wait to show off our costumes and celebrate all our hard work this term!
