First and Second Class continued to work diligently in October. We have been preparing for Hallowe'en by decorating the class and corridor with some lovely (but spooky!) paintings and acrostic poems that the pupils created. We have been learning lots of Hallowe'en vocabulary 'as Gaeilge'. In Maths we have been looking at 2D shapes and place value. We also received a visit from the community Garda. Garda Orla spoke to the class about fire safety which is so important to be aware of at this time of the year.
