October Update

22nd Oct 2025

This month in 6th Class, the children have been busy exploring new skills and topics. We’ve started our sewing lessons, and everyone is really enjoying the challenge of learning how to thread needles, stitch fabric, and follow simple patterns. It’s been great to see their concentration and creativity in action.

In Art, we got into the Halloween spirit by creating spooky ghost pictures using chalk pastels. The children used shading and colour blending techniques to give their ghosts a haunting effect and the results were both scary and impressive!

In Geography, we’ve been learning all about the layers of the Earth and volcanoes. The children completed detailed projects full of interesting facts, diagrams, and colourful illustrations. Their work shows a great understanding of how our planet is structured and how volcanoes form and erupt. Well done, everyone!
