We were delighted to welcome Miriam, Emma Jane and the rest of the team from Maynooth Access Group to deliver their Our World programme to all of our classes on Tuesday and Thursday last week. The programme aims to promote inclusion and develop an understanding and awareness of diversity and the importance of accessibility for all. The children were challenged with the task of finding ways to make the Lego city more accessible for all. During the visit, we were also thrilled to receive our purple flag for the school’s commitment to creating a more inclusive community. The children thoroughly enjoyed the programme and we are very grateful to Maynooth Access Group for being so generous with their time on both days.
