Senior Infants December Update
18th Dec 2025
What great fun we have had in Senior Infants this month!
Ms. Monahan and Ms. Kenna are so proud of all of our boys and girls with their amazing nativity performance. They are definitely stars in the making!
Christmas was in the air for the full month of December! We had a little elf visitor to our classroom for the month who has caused great excitement! Sometimes he is tricky to find in the morning, but we always manage to spot him eventually!
We have also enjoyed opening our Advent calendar each morning to reveal our little Christmas surprise. We have played Christmas musical chairs, sang Christmas carols, had a candy cane hunt around the classroom and many more fun-filled Christmas activities!
We held our own Toy Show earlier this month too and the children did a wonderful job presenting their toys to the class and explaining all about them.
A hot chocolate party was in order this week to celebrate all of our hard work.
We hope you have enjoyed looking through the folder full of wonderful work that was sent home this week too. The children have all worked so hard this term and they were looking forward to showing off their work to everyone at home.
We have been practicing some Christmas songs for the past couple of weeks, so if you're lucky and you ask nicely, you might get a private performance of "Away in a Manger" or "Silent Night" in the comfort of your own home home!
Christmas came around so fast, because as the saying goes.....time flies when you're having fun and we have definitely done that!
Happy Christmas to all of our families in Senior Infants. We hope Santa is good to everyone and we are looking forward to seeing you all back in the new year.
