Senior Infants March Update
27th Mar 2026
Senior Infants are delighted to be on their Easter holidays! They have been working very hard in the lead up to the holidays. The children made some beautiful clay Easter egg decorations which will look beautiful hanging up at home.
This week, we were working on timelines in history. We looked at some of the important events in our lives and added photographs and drawings to make personal timelines. It was lovely for the children to look back on some of their major milestones in their lives so far and to document them and share them with their peers.
In maths, we did lots of work with the number 10 and also practiced using money. The children will be able to play shop at home and pay for items up to 20c.
As part of the fun in the lead up to the holidays, the children enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt organised by the parent's council. It was great fun searching high and low for the eggs!
Ms. Kenna and Ms. Monahan would like to wish all of the children and their families a wonderful Easter break and we look forward to hearing whether the Easter Bunny hopped by to pay anyone a visit!!
